Our Mission Statement

"As men, women and children united by a common confession of faith based on Holy Scripture, Risen Savior Lutheran Church exists to make more and stronger disciples for time and for eternity by serving all people with the gospel of Jesus Christ."

• Wednesday, February 17 --  Ash Wednesday...Bible luncheon at the Green Lantern, 11:45 a.m. continuing the study of "The Kingdom of God;" Soup Supper at the Ministry Center, 6 p.m., followed by a Lenten Meditation, 7 p.m. [Theme:  "Lenten Soul Food" focusing on the symbolism of Christ celebrated in the Passover meal]; adult choir practice to follow the meditation
• Thursday, February 18 -- Quilting class at the Ministry Center, 6:30 p.m.
• Sunday, February 21 -- Sunday School and Adult Bible Class [Topic:  Role of Women] at the Municipal Center, 8:45 a.m.; worship service [Team #1] including holy communion at 10 a.m
• Thursday, February 25 -- Game night [Sheepshead] at the Ministry Center [or new church building], 6:30 p.m.; quilting class at the Ministry Center [or new church building], 6:30 p.m.
• Saturday, February 27 -- Anticipated move from the Ministry Center to the new church building
• Sunday, February 28 -- God willing, the first church service at the new church building
• Sunday, March 7 -- Adult Bible Class and Sunday School at 8:45 a.m.; worship service with holy communion at 10 a.m.
• Sunday, March 14 -- Adult Bible Class and Sunday School at 8:45 a.m.; worship service at 10 a.m.; Dedication service for the new church at 4 p.m. followed by an open house and meal

NOTE:   "Building His Church - One Soul at a Time" is our outreach emphasis for 2010.  Please invite friends and neighbors to join us at Bible study and worship.  We strive to share our church with those who need to hear about Jesus.
